Welcome to CGN


Welcome to Canterbury Gamers News.���  This website orginally started in January 2002 as a printed magazine containing only two Play by Mail games a bit of news and a story.���  The games were The Paris Tribune and Chronicles of Rokugan.���  Since then a lot of time has passed players have come and gone, as have games, but the two original games continue.

This site is now the home of all the games that are and have been run under the CGN banner, it is not a repalcement for the Adventure Gaming Society (our local Univeristy Gaming Club), it is an extra that can be accessed for free.

Feel free to join the site, there is not obligation to join any of the games, but you can discuss gaming, find out what is coming out at Westgate Games (our Friendly Local Games Store (FLGS)) and find out what events are being run in the Canterbury area.

 August 1626 Issue & v7.0 of the TPT Rules Published

The August 1626 Issue & v7.0 of the TPT Rules have now been published.

Apologies for the delay. but this has proved a fairly gargantuan task, which I hope the game will benefit from. My thanks as always to my proofreaders and especially in this instance given the great deal of hard work that has gone into preparing v7.0 of the rules - I couldn't have done it without them!

Given the large amount of coffee I've drunk is now kicking in, I will  stay up and start sending out individual character returns immediately...

 Uploading errors

Just a note to GMs.  You might receive an error whilst trying to upload into the Document Repository, please bare with me for today and I will try and solve the issue tomorrow.  It seems that permissions on the folders on the server have gone wrong and will not reset at the moment.  I'm not sure which folders are affected and which aren't so I may need to rebuild the whole.

All the action from week 3 and 4, the results of the first auction and the draw for the 1st round of the 2055 Company Cup.
